Combining Dental Implants
and Cutting-Edge Technology
In modern dentistry, dental implants are a remarkable solution for addressing the challenges of missing teeth, seamlessly restoring both function and aesthetics. While the concept of dental implants has revolutionized oral rehabilitation, integrating guided surgery technologies like X-Nav has elevated this transformative process to new heights.
These advanced technologies pave the way for unparalleled precision and predictability in implant surgeries, ensuring flawless outcomes that rejuvenate smiles and enhance oral health.
Why Choose an Implantologist Who Utilizes Robotic Surgery?
Robotic Surgery is a pioneer in the field of guided implant surgery. Before your surgery, Dr. Brian Ferber will take detailed digital scans of your mouth and jaw. We use these to determine the optimal placement of your full mouth dental implants.
We’ll input these scans into the X-Guide navigation system, or if we determine the Yomi to be better suited, we will use that instead. We use our dental lab to print chrome guides to ensure ideal placement, but the X-Guide robot works alongside Dr. Ferber to provide live feedback on the depth, angle, and position of your implant posts.
X-Guide vs. Yomi: Understanding Differences in Robotic Surgery
X-Guide enhances dental implant surgery by providing real-time 3D navigation, allowing for increased surgeon control and seamless integration into existing practices.
In contrast, Yomi employs a semi-autonomous robotic arm to assist in procedures, enabling less invasive surgeries but requiring more significant adaptation within the practice setup.
X-Guide System
X-Guide is a dynamic 3D navigation tool that enhances precision in implant placement by providing real-time guidance on position, angle, and depth.
It integrates easily into various workflows, allowing intra-operative adjustments to achieve optimal outcomes.
Yomi Robotic System
Yomi is the first FDA-cleared robotic device for dental implants. It offers semi-autonomous assistance with a robotic arm that guides the drill with precision. Yomi reduces surgical invasiveness, often eliminating the need for tissue flaps, which can result in faster patient recovery.
Precise Results Every Time
Precision can make a huge difference in your experience regarding implant surgery. Technology like X-Guide allows our team to provide the highest level of precision, making your surgery go as smoothly as possible. This guidance allows us to insert your full mouth dental implant posts in the strongest portions of your jaw, improving their chances of long-term success.
This guidance makes your surgery more efficient, which can reduce its total cost as well. We don’t think anyone, including us, should have to go through dental implant surgery alone! This “helping hand” is an amazing addition to our office.
